Our renewed interest in nature: A prime example of ‘The World After’ concept brought to the opera house.

Although our species has gotten the ability to watch this concert live and without delay from anywhere in the world, it appears the plants have one up on us when it comes to physical attendance. After 3 months of lockdown, the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona opened with a peculiar performance. The whole venue sold out with 2.292 plants attending the show. The audience at home, spectators joining in via livestream to watch the concert, were reminded that we are currently deprived of being the audience itself. Mother nature stands above us in these times.
