In The World Before we saw socks coming up but not really breaking through yet. When the lockdowns came, we were left alone in our houses and apartments, with no physical shopping opportunities or events to shop for. Income was also too insecure for some to shop lavishly.
We made things work with the things we already owned, and especially learned to dress with what we had. A trend that was already upcoming, socks in summer shoes, is now here thanks to the catalyzation of the pandemic. In order to keep wearing summer shoes longer throughout the year, socks in summer shoes will become more prevalent.
The visual effect of socks in summer shoes create a lot of new, beautiful styling opportunities that will help carry the trend to new levels.
